『ジュラシック・ワールド炎の王国』はクローンが主題の映画

クローン/クローニングが主題。エイリアンをだしにしてAIの話を描いてるリドリー・スコットみたい。
クローンとの共存を主題にしたのはコリン・トレヴォロウとデレク・コノリーのコンビだろうね。スティーヴン・スピルバーグは『ジュラシック・ワールド』第1作の開発には深く参加していたが、第2作はトレヴォロウとコノリーに自由に書かせたらしい。

屋敷でのhaunted house(幽霊屋敷)のようなシークエンスは、ホラーの名手フアン・アントニオ・バヨナ監督らしさに満ちていた。
スティーヴン・スピルバーグ、フランク・マーシャル、キャスリーン・ケネディは『インポッシブル』を観てJ・A・バヨナを『ジュラシック・ワールド』第1作の監督候補に考えていたが、バヨナは第1作の制作に必要なスケジュールがないと考えて断ったらしい。また、コリン・トレヴォロウは『永遠のこどもたち』を観てバヨナを『炎の王国』の監督に希望した、と。

メイジー・ロックウッド役のイザベラ・サーモンが上手い。
